A beautiful picture...

taken during my first Tornado watch while at home by myself. That's right across the street from my house, my view from my desk and front door. I love that!

Will I ever get used to tornadoes?

That is a beautiful view! Tornadoes would make me very nervous too.

That's a great picture. Having lived in Oklahoma as a kid, I can tell you that tornadoes never fail to inspire awe. And terror!

Brianne, thanks for your comment on my Kepler and for linking to my blog! I have just read through some of your recent posts and it looks as though you have some great projects in the works. I've been thinking about the Irish hiking scarf too! Cables are fun!

Also, I am so sorry about your baby. Since I have two boys of my own, I can (kind of) imagine how sad and painful this time must be for you. I'll be saying a little prayer for you and your family. [hugs]

I wanted to give a Welcome to Missouri. Im glad to meet and greet a fellow crafter.. As knitters we can face down Tornados and other hardships that are thrown are way with our trusty knitting kneedles they can protect (just jab until your attacker is motionless)they can play music (beat them together in a pleasing rhytme) they can soothe in a time of need (they are familar to our hands comforting as you work to knit somthing taking your troubles away even briefly)
