Have you ever had that moment...

when you realized that the difficult thing you've been trying to do has finally clicked?

It happened.

Knitting has finally clicked.

It didn't take as long as I thought it would, which was surprising. Don't overestimate my abilities either. I'm talking about working on a simple scarf in a 2x2 ribbed pattern. But it was really neat, finally not having to think about every step to the stitch. My hands are beginning to know what to do without needing much in the way of intense supervision.

The only thing that is bugging me now is that I've sworn to finish the last crocheted blanket for the Pine Ridge Reservation before I pick up the knitted scarf again. That means it'll probably be Thursday before I'm knitting again, which is annoying since I just got into the groove... but that's okay.

Once the blanket is done, I'll post pictures of that and my amazing "clicking" scarf. *is proud and stuff*

Congrats!
I don't know how Blogger manages comments, but if it's as slipshod as Haloscan can be with the notifications, I thought I'd give you a heads-up to an invite, details attached to your July 28, Could This Be Possible post, if'n you're free this Sunday. And everybody's invited.
